Question Imported RX to Canada

I just imported an RX8 to Canada from the US and need to activate the daytime running lights. Anyone know how to do this?

Wire the fogs to operate at-all-times.

Should meet the specs.

The OEM Canadian DRL module is located behind the glovebox. I wonder if the US wiring harness is plug-and-play ready for the OEM DRL module. That might be the cleanest way to do it.

What I ended up doing was adjusting the wiring so when the key is turned on the parking lights come on. Passed no problem. I do like the idea of the fogs tho....

I looked into getting the DRL module - it was very pricey so I didn't pursue it.

Ya I read about the fog lights, but don't want them on all the time, I kinda like the look without them on and main beams on.

Ya the Canadian DRL module is, the question is on US models is the wiring harness there to plug the DRL module in? If it is there then all is good, other wise I have to look for another way Does anyone know if it is there on the US models?

Thx!

What parking lights what parking lights? I start my US model and there are NO lights at any time uless I turn them on. Ya the DRL module is expensive (not to bad), but at leat it is OEM and no hacking jobs done. ThX!

I will be importing my '04 when I move back to Canada from the U.S. in January and a Canadian dealer I visited told me that all I needed was the DRL module, everything else was there.

Well talked to the dealership and being a US none DRL model, it doesn't have the harnessing for the DRL module. So it's aftermarket DRL or DRL fog lights that there is a DIY forum posting. So for everyone else that is doing/going to do the same thing I did, don't waste your time, it can't be done OEM style.

Now to research the fog lights DRL.

Thx all!
