Question Im approching 25K miles and it's only 7 months old

My 8 is now near the 25K mile mark and I've only had it for 7 months, besides the regular oil changes and tire rotation what else should I change on it? Should I change the Cabin filter, air filter, trans oil, brakes, etc... Can you guy’s give me some advice?

We are exactly the same !
I changed Rear diff. and 6MT oils to Redline and I've gotten new tires (at 16k). Brakes still are holding up. I may get new ones soon due to Mazdas TSB. And I'm going to clean my K&N tonight

Well, I have 24.000 km (15.000 miles) after 5 months. Absolutely no problems so far, guess the tyres will have to be changed in the near future, but I'm going for winter tyres soon anyway.

As for changing filters, I'll stick to the service intervals recommended by Mazda, except for the air filter - I'm going to pick up up my Mazdaspeed filter today.

I’m getting the new brakes offered by Mazda TSB, but my dealer says I should also get the rotors machined. Should I really do that or is the dealer trying to make some $$$. How can I check to see if my rotors need to be machined?

It is recommended that the rotors be machined but not necessary in some cases. I read a few guys hear who changed their pads, that no machining was done. Maybe they had lower mileage? Had my front pads changed two days ago and they lightly machined the rotors for free.
