Unhappy Ignition switch problem?

Started my 2004 RX8 at lunch today. It fired right up just like it has been doing. Ran a bit. Stopped it. Tried to start and nothing. Would not turn over at all. Not even any clicking. I then noticed that the radio, blower, seat heaters, windows, sunroof, wipers would not operate. Also noticed that everything that would work WITHOUT the ignition in the "on" position was working just fine (headlights, power seats, dome lights, entry lights, remote trunk release).

I could not find any fuses that appeared blown. I am thinking perhaps the ignition switch? When you insert the key into the ignition, the car does start its regular "key is in" chime but nothing else seems to happen.

Any thoughts?
