I need help!!!

hey everyone, i have 2004 rx8 and ive had this car for almost 5 years now greatt car i lovee my car and i only had couplve minor problems with my car witch i prety much fixed my self. this is my first post to this club ive never done this before. ok so here it goes. My car starts up fine and has very slight rought idle when it is warm and when i start driving it and hit the gass my rpm response is very poor. also when the higher rpm i go the car sound from exhaust is almost like its choking feels like missing air or fuel not sure. i have no cat on the car so thats not even an issue, i hada straight test pipe with a vibrant resonated welded on it with a single hks outlet exhaust. the other thing is i get no cel even for the cat not being there:S isnt that wierd? sounds awwsomeee love the sound!! car is been very well maintained been burns of clean oil non synthetic. i cleaned the filter already twice. the car has a bhr ignition system that i installed so its deffinately not coils wires or plugs because they been changed very recent. i use premimium gass and drive the car hard often so no carbon builds up. im starting to think that its ssv valve or the ecu gets confused iv read some threads on here about those. my car has 93k on it original engine. and yeh i get no cel from this problem which is another problem othwise there wouldnt be a freaking problem. ughhhhhhh. please help

try cleaning the MAF and eccentric shaft position sensor. Then turn the car to the "On" position (without turning car on), pump the brake pedal quickly (~20 times) until the oil level gauge sweeps.

Ok iv already cleaned the maf senor. I dont know where the eccentric shaft senor is. And i already tryed reseting ecu by that method. I even took off the battery terminal for about 10 mintutes and draining out the left energy by holding the brake pedal. When i do thatt and start my car the traction light wil come on and stay on until i shut off the car and start it again and it will go away not sure if thats normal. The last time my car was at the dealer it was for the computer it burnt out i dono y but yeh the dealer. Changd it under warranty this was in june. I dono what flash it has but yeh. Oh yeh iv goten a compression test and it passed i can post the numbers tommorw

How many miles on your car? Any modifications?
Could be your fuel system (either a plug. leak or damage). Also (as you mentioned), there could be a problem with the SSV and APV valves.

ESS

Spray with electrical contact cleaner, wipe off and replace. Then, perform the brake stomp test

Troublshoot your valves
