My car uses a quart of oil every 3000 miles so I just change it instead, never add any.

i'm the same as the above poster... oil change every 3k miles. By that time i'm a quart low. Sometimes I'll fill it up at 1500 miles though.

i fill oil, only if i check it. usually its only when i do an oil change.
