Use the proper size oil filter socket and 3/8 extensions and a ratchet. Or just man up

I have encountered some that were so tight, the filter wrench pliers or large channel locks were all that would work.
If the proper oil filter wrench won't work, there are also ratcheting wrenches that grip tighter as you apply more force.
I have an old one that works well, similar to this;
