How to properly break in rotary engine?
For piston engines, you simply drive it hard after you warm up the car so that the piston ring can properly sit and seal. The first 20 miles are the crucial period for this. Well, most people think driving it in grandma style is the way to do it but it is not so and it's been proven. I wish I had the link to the webpage about it... I'll ask my bro if anyone needs it. Anyway, I was a little off-topic here. How do you properly break in rotary engine?? No, I don't want the answers from the manual saying you have to be a wuss for first 1000 miles but anyone know from experience(i.e. building race rotary engine or recommendation by rebuilders??)? I'm very curious... Thanx in advance.

...i know you're new here, so i'll just have to suggest using the Search feature up on the menu bar, as there are already threads going about this... it's not a bad thing to resurect an old, good thread.
if you're using the dark blue skin, the Search button is just under the rear right tyre of the blue RX-8 in the title graphic. thanks.
