How much oil you need when perform transmission flush?

Hello,

I plan on doing a transmission flush on my car and replace the oil with synthetic transmission oil (Amsoil). At 22K mile I only drained the old oil and replace with 4 quad of Amsoil syn oil. Now at 41K miles I want to do a complete flush and replace all oil. How many quad do I need?

Thanks.

1.8

and if you have a MT and not an AT, its a drain and fill, not a flush

go to GM and get synchromesh + Friction Modified. that **** is liquid gold (its $15 a quart but worth it)

Thanks guy. I did some search and found good info. My car is manual and I forgot how much I put in the oil last time. How often do your guy check the transmission fluid level?

I never do... just change it out when it needs it
You wont be loosing/using fluid unless you have a leak or some major issue like that
