How long to run Dino oil before switching to synthetic

How long to run Dino oil before switching to synthetic

How many miles do you recommend running the RX with dino oil before switching to synthetic? I want to make sure the engine is good and broken in.

Some tried after 1k, I tried 15k, it doesn't matter

I'd give it at least 1000 miles. Any time after that is fine. Synthetic oil lubricates so well that it hinders breakin and you pretty much get that taken care of pretty early. The first 20 miles are the most critical but after about 1000 or so, you are pretty much done. If you are worried about it, wait a little longer.
