How do I remove or open the front headlamps?
I have a little moisture trapped in one of my headlamps and want to open it up, let it dry out, seal the small crack letting moisture in, and reattach it.
Thanks in advance!

welllll...
First. you'll have to get the whole fixture out of the car.
Idk how to do this. But search, you'll find something.
Then. This is where it gets interesting. You have to bake them (yes bake, like a turkey) and the lens will come off. Allowing you access.
It's quite a lot of work. You probably have a bad seal on one of your bulb fixtures. So if it were me. I'd try to take out the parking bulb or main headlight bulb and see if I could vaccuum it out or stick a towel or something to get it out. Because if not you could potentially ruin a headlight. and they are about $400.
In the end. is it worth it? Another way to fix it may be to take the taillight fix. Take the fixture out and drill some holes at the bottom (very small holes mind you) and the water will go out... hopefully.... also search for that...
Basically, search for these methods and you'll figure it out.
Hope this helps!

You have to remove the front bumper, and then you can unbolt the headlight. Like Alexb said, you will have to bake it..then it will peel apart. Have fun if you have HID equipped headlights, it won't be easy to disassemble. I had mine out and was gonna do the same, but the task of taking out all of the wiring seemed to be a lil much. Plus I did'nt want to take the chance of messing it up, I had a light quoted at $1400 to replace.

Unless you have a pond in there.. I'd suggest just living with it. It came in some way. maybe it will find it's way out. Another Idea I had was to take the headlight out. But w/o baking it, see if you could dump it out through a hole that a bulb goes in. Or freeze the assembly and see if you can make the ice fall out or pull it out.

its not a major process...search my old threads for halo DIYs, I have all the instructions to open them. OR just take the headlight off the car, get a blowdryer in the light sockets and dry that water out...then reseal the edges with a clear silicone. There ya go, problem gone
