Please see this thread: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-tech-garage-22/my-grounding-kit-results-84924/ Especially this post: https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php...9&postcount=58 That should be the best instruction you can get. I do not imagine the HKS system to be too different from the ebay one - just make sure you account for all the parts that came with your system. When I did mine, I did each of those points in MazdaManiac's post except the coils. Mainly because it was a pain in the ass to reach. |
Yes it the circle one

1) first, you should ask yourself, where do you have your battery? - mine is in the trunk, so i mounted the gold circle in the engine bay, and i ran one wire from (-) negative battery to the front to be connected to the CIRCLE PLATE. - if it's in the engine bay, you should have the kit, so it can be attached to the negative battery, directly. after this, you should be set for mounting it 2) you have to look for the grounding points - run wires from circle plate to where ever the grounding points in your car. there is a thread to find out our main grounding points in our car. that's it...you are set....be careful, don't put near any (+) current because if it's getting too close to +, then it's dangerous. |

Generally, if you think about it, you're merely reducing the resistance to ground. As long as you do not introduce a short, then you'll be ok. How can you introduce a short? If you put one of those wires over the positive terminal of the battery kit, like the guy you mentioned. |
ty for the info sir.
