How to align steering wheel?
I've noticed my steering wheel needs to be slightly turned a couple of degrees to the right from the 12o'clock position in order to keep the car in a completely straight line. I was wondering if this is something that needs to be fixed with a wheel alignment or is it there any way to align the steering wheel perhaps without having to take it to a shop?
It's not as bad as it is nagging, therefore I'd like to get it fixed without spending money.

^^^ yeah but then danomite can go back to drinking a beer while drivining one-handed.
When the damn wheel is crooked, it tends to spill a man's beer. Can't have THAT happening!

woa woa, i do not condone drinking and driving! actually, my car does drive straight and the tires wear evenly. but when i did the alignment the steering wheel wasn't perfectly lined up right, hence the slight ****
i was lazy!!!
jedi speaks as if he's done that before. tsk tsk...

I don't have any drift. The car drives straight without input; it's just my steering wheel. Or my calibration is off... Hmmm... I'll recalibrate after I weld my clutch bracket. Then I'll see if that fixes it...
I think you can correct a minor misalignment of the steering wheel by adjusting the nuts at the end of the rack. See photo, you loosen them, then adjust the wheel and tighten the nuts.
