Hi Beams and headlight alignment

Pulling into the garage yesterday, I noticed that my driver's side hi-beam is about a foot higher on the wall than the passenger side. This surprised me because the low beam pattern seems proper. Is there a separate adjust for the hi and low beams or does the whole light housing move together?

I know that the service manual for headlight alignment tells you to turn the low-beam on for the procedure and then to turn the adjustment screws. No mention on doing one beam at a time.
Makes me think that it moves the whole headlight housing... maybe someone can chime in with a more definitive answer.

I would check to make sure the bulb is securely in it's socket. Sounds like it might be loose and maybe moved. I know of no way to adjust the highbeam bulb by it's self.

I don't recall an adjustment for the highbeams.

I had this thought too. I'll check the bulbs.
