Hessitation at green light

I have noticed that since I bought my 04 RX8, when the car is idling, and you give it gas, there is a slight delay in throttle responce. What causes this and what can you do to fix it.. I have a throttle body spacer and a K&N typhoon installed. I thought this would fix it, but it didnt change, did get alot more power though... Any suggestions.. Oh, in case someone asks, I use premium fuel at every fill up..

I don't think you can help the delay. It's got to do with the car being all electronically controlled now....
I also noticed the slight delay in the gas pedal when I first drove the car. It was hell shifting up at green lights... hahaha

Well this is pure speculation on my part, but from what I have read the ECU goes into an idle routine when the speedometer hits zero. Perhaps the delay is the computer switching out of the idle routine and back into the driving one. Like I said just pure speculation on my part, but seems to make a bit of sense.
