good news i just did a quick test i pulled off each wire one at a time and used a old plug to see if it sparked and every wire sparked except one so its the coil is shot i just gotta wait for my new ones to come in wednsday thanks to everyone who helped. i should have listened to my pops in the first place he said the coils from the start

ok im reopening this thread. i changed the coils and its now the coils are def sparking and its the same thing its not firing right. i need some last advice before i bring this car to the stealership and get charged out the ***. it seems like the rear chamber isnt working because thats the coil that was shot and now that its working it still isnt running right. can this be a short somwere or is the rear rotor blown hellp please

i just changed the plugs its new plugs wires and coils. form **** im reading i think i gotta bring it in theres a couple recalls that it could be and if not then at least il kno the problem

Take it to a Mazda dealer or a rotary shop and have them do a compression test.

Are you sure you have them on in the right order? It may not be firing right if you've mixed up the wires.

motor is blown i broiught it in. best service ive ever heard of tho i towed the car to the dealer without calling on sunday by 9 on monday i got a call they looked at the car and it had no compression i said can it be rebuilt he says no it has to be changed so i say **** how much? service manager says its covered under warantee bring down your stock headers!!!!! i bring the headers down hand them to the guy and he says you will be back on the road by next week. wtf is up with this lol i have never heard of anything like this it seems to good to be true they asked for no money and no maintanance recipts or anything no arguements

8yr/100K mile warranty on the engine. Mazda is good to us as long as you get the right dealer. Sounds like they are treating you right.

Let us know how it feels when you get it back.

Sucks that your engine died, but it's great that you're getting a new one no questions asked. Post the name of the dealer you took it to so other people in your area know that they treated you well (sometimes a good dealer is hard to find).

EDIT: Might want to create a new thread in the region section for your area with that info
