Question Help?

I have a 2004 rx-8 with 109,000 (approx) and this morning when i went out to leave for work i noticed the car being jerky, it wouldnt accelerate hardly at all and it seemed to happen in every gear, when i got back home to check it out there was smoke coming out of the right side of the engine bay.

any ideas? and cost.

the check engine light came on right before ( it was flashing )

smoke coming out of the right side of the engine bay?

why don't u look at it, try to find out where the smoke comes from, take a picture, and see what sup ?

b4 u go try to take a pic, make sure its safe to do so. cuz smoking on the "right" side of the engine bay (assume u mean when you looking at your car from the front) is where your fuel tubes are.

but it sounds like you are having a leaky engine, and you just out of the 100K mile warranty. might want to tow it to a mazda dealer, act all innocent and say you're barely out of the warranty period and your car is f-ked. see what they say.
