HELP!!!2004 6 Speed Transmission??????
When you are refilling your trans oil can you fill it through the top of the transmission where the shifter is?

2004 is a series 1; you will find more people who know about that over in the series 1 technical section.

Yes you could, but you'd need to take out the top 'filler' plug anyway, to gauge the level accurately.

The capacity from full drain is exactly 2 quarts.

Worst case, you could pull the fill plug and put a pan underneath to catch overflow, in case it wasn't a full drain before.

Hand pumps (eg. marine style) are usually cheap (I think I paid $10?), it's not that big of a deal to fill the transmission from under the car.
