I went back to check the oil pan, no it is not there. The drain hole is clean and no crusher attached to the drain hole. Put my hand in the oil and nothing inside the old oil.
I am positive there is no crusher. When I unscrew the plug, I did it so slowly and use the finger feel the crusher, but it is not there.
I've got 2 new crushers from dealer last month, I am going to put the new crusher. I feel the drain hole again to make sure I will not double up the crusher.
I picked up the car new. May be the dealer prepare the car for delievery or during transport, they flooded the engine, so they change the oil without putting the crusher back. How should I know? Well, I am stock up the crusher and do the oil change myself.

Swirling your hand in the oil doesn't necessarily find it. This has happened to me several times and I find the thing in the drain pan after transferring the oil into a larger container for storage. Sometimes it gets caught by the funnel and sometimes it sticks to the pan and I find it once the oil is gone.
The other place it can "hide" is on the drain plug itself. Using a nice bright light you might be surprised to find it stuck to the flange of the plug so tightly that it looks like part of the plug.

I am positive, no crusher. I poured the old oil back to the empty container. No crusher in the funnel or the drain pan. Like I said, I was looking to get the crusher when I unscrew the plug.
Double check the plug/ the hole, nothing. I put a new crusher and tightened up the drain plug, changed the filter and refilled with new oil. And I could not believe it took 4.3 litre. And the manual stated 3.5 litre. Better go with the dipstick marker. Right at the full mark.
Well, I do not know where and how the crusher disappeared?
