Help!

I made a huge mistake and accidentally used lacquer thinner on my headlight instead of adhesive remover!

Will a headlight restoration fix this!? Or do I need to buy a new headlight!?

Thanks in advance for any input.

yeah, we have a special plastic on the c-130, and someone thought it would be easy to take the sealant off with lacquer thinner...lets just say we had to replace a 1300 dollar plastic lens...

i agree with allnarotordo

I have a friend who owns a detail shop and he is going to try to do some magic on it tomorrow. I will let you all know how it goes. It really depends on how deep it ate into the plastic.

Cheapest light I saw on Ebay was around $250 and the rest were up around $600. NOT COOL.

Elite Auto Detailing in Boise just saved me $650. Wet sand, wax and buff and it's (nearly) as good as new!

So Stoked. I'll post a "after" pic later when I get home.
