Hey everyone,
I have the base line RX8 with the manual seats and cloth. I was wondering if there are wires underneath the seats so i could get the heated leather seats and plug them in. Can anyone help me out? and yes i did search and i couldn't find anything.

Yep, all the wiring is there for the heated seats. Even the fuse is in there already.

If you get the switches, you can even wire in aftermarket heaters into the plugs under the seat.

Did it on my Touring. I wanted heated seats, didn't want slippery leather. Added aftermarket heaters to the stock wiring and used a stock set of heated seat switches that plugged into the harnesses in the center console.

COOL! I want heated seats Then I need to add traction control and a moon roof and my base model will be perfect. lol

 

There are extra wires and pins in the plugs, but since I have not tried, I am not sure.
