Headlights aimed at the ground

Hey guys, got another question for ya. I've got an 04 rx8 so therefore it has it's own motor to control the headlights right. I've heard that 05 or 06 and up had a dial to control the motor to change the aim of the lights. Anyways this is not working correctly so i can not even drive my car at night. Any suggestions or at least how i can get at it to try and adjust it?

it's the headlight leveling sensor on the driver side of the vehicle. Do a search for it on here...there are even stickies.

Yes, mine just started doing the same thing and I have to fix it. The control sensor is located on the rear suspension. There is a thread on how to repair the sensor.

Where are you located? The adjuster was not on NA models

is your headlight level sensor warning light on?

There are two sensors, one front, one rear.

Once that is sorted out you can adjust aim using the adjusters on the headlight housing.

The early models had a wiring connector on the sensors which allowed water infiltration. The water rots the sensor internals.
You can buy the upgraded connectors or get some goop to seal around the wire entry point on the connectors.

thanks for all the help guys. and quick responses. I'm in central ontario if anyone's interested. I was wondering where the sensors are and yes my indicator light is on, but it goes away and the lights are still aimed at the ground. If someoen knows how to find/inspect the sensors that'd be great and where the adjustment is on the housing aswell. thanks for all the help
