headlights???

TX headlights???

ok so i got 8k hid's for my fogs i wanna upgrade the stock hid's butcant figure out what bulb they are and what about the factory ballast? help plz and if ya got a thread for it just send it to me thanks

If your already HID, the only bulb that will work is the D2C. But you can get 8000k, 10000k, 12000k, etc.

Nope. You'll have to remove the front bumper to get to the headlights though. Theres a DIY around here somewhere for that and im pretty sure there is one for the HID's too.

Why would you screw with the factory ballasts?

You get to the HID bulbs and ballasts by taking the clips from in front of the wheels, the black plastic just bends aside for access.

Im probably an idiot but i thought if you changed the factory bulbs to a diffrent k you would have to change the ballast to the one the new lights come with if im wrong plz tell me so

Nope, a ballast is a ballast, so long as it fits the bulbs.

There are some screwy aftermarket systems out there, so stick with the same type as original - D2S

So I see on VLEDS site that the D2S low beam bulb is 3.5K. Is it ok to go the the D2R which is 5k and a whiter look?
