Has anyone done oil changes at Pepboys?
Please don't say DIY, I'll whip you with my dipstick.

Last time I let a shop do an oil change while they did my inspection it cost me a brand new clutch, do it yourself it cost the same regardless except you wont have to worry about what someone making minimum wage didn't do that is gona cost you later down the road

but wait i would actually like to hear more... How did he manage to screw up the clutch?

Never tightened the oil filter, leaked into the bell-housing saturating the clutch disk. Created an awesome smell as well.
This was a Mazda Tech to say the least, god only knows what those crap shops are capable off |
You ask this question as if all Pep Boys stores are the same. Like any chain, some are run well and others are staffed by meth heads and high school drop outs with zero training. Do it yourself.

No pepboys. At least go to the dealer and get your car washed.
