OK i get in my car today when it was raining really hard, everything was flooded well i get home safely and to my dismay 3 hours later i step down on the clutch i heara grinding chatering sound. I turn on the car and i let my brotehr drive down teh block i heard a grinding everytime he engaged the clutch. I get in the car and start to drive and teh gear changes are very rough it wont go into 2nd or reverse i have to paly with it to get it in. I think its teh pressure plate or clutch. I now have 22,000 miles on it so if its a tranny or clutch problem i will have to pay out of pocket.


P.s how much is a clutch, flywheel

 

why would it not be covered now that you 22,000 miles on it? i thought drivertrain warranty is 4 year/40k miles.

 

it's covered.

 

first thing for them to check would be the pressure plate bolts. get it in to service before it gets worse
