So, my gas pedal is making noises. It makes clicking noises and creaking noises, like noises when two plastic parts rub and scratch each other. It makes noises when you push down/release or jigle the pedal side to side. Looked down there--nothing seemed loose, however, there is lateral play in the pedal. Does your gas pedal have lateral play and make noises?

The gas pedal is nothing more than a variable resistor and a spring. Don't mess with it and let the dealer swap it out for a new one.

My clutch pedal makes the same noise, clicks sometimes.

 

Oops, my bad. It's not a resistor. It is a magnet and coil inside the case.

Yea, I wasn't gonna mess with it anytime soon since I still have almost 4 years warrantee, hehe. I'll take it in sometime and let them swap me a new unit.
