I believe you meant, "wasn't enough" in reference to me
Unlike most, I actually like to learn outside my expertise.
*sigh* Fair nuff.

2) It is perfectly ok that you would like to learn about things "outside your expertise". Again, 100% ok. Just be willing to read the links someone gives you as most people are not going to give you cliff notes

2) "You don't receiveth because you don't ask", ever heard something among those lines? Doesn't hurt to ask for explanations; some people are willing to explain, some are not. I read the link and inquired more about how it worked but from the looks of it seems too much of trouble to go in depth with it and I was fine with that which is why I said, fair nuff.

No need to make someone feel inadequate for asking a legitimate and pertinent question. A question which is not answered by clicking the link.
Sohn adapter is great.
"Then Ford put Martin Leach, now president of Ford of Europe, in charge of product development at Mazda and he encouraged its engine specialists to make the technology more efficient and compliant with stringent future exhaust emissions regulations. The result is Renesis — rotary engine, new beginning."
I think a little knowledge is a dangerous thing! Too many amateur experts not to be taken seriously.

Just ask 9KRPM who is on his third engine. He listened to Mazda twice and failed twice. Now he is trying his own thing. I listened to mazda and got a new engine at 48k miles. I did everything that the owners manual said to do including early maintenance. Mazda claims Ford was holding them back from creating the rotary engine they wanted to create since Ford DID own most of Mazda. If Ford made any decisions about the rotary, it would be detrimental as Ford knows nothing about them.
All I can say is experience is the key here. Many users on this forum have done what the manual has said to do and got rewarded with a new engine around 50K. Just because you got lucky ONCE and got 186K miles on an engine does not mean the manual is correct. You sir are one in a million.

The tangential relevance to this thread, which I think you missed, is the claim put forward by some within Mazda, after Ford sold their controlling interest, that Ford bean counters had prevented Mazda engineers from including a third, center oil injector on the Renesis OMP system.

it's not a press release, but no matter, point is under Ford Mazda developed the RX8 engine and car. I think that's good! Not trying to score any points.
