My mileage has improved dramatically after I got the L flash. Previously I would rarley get 16MPG and never get 17MPG on my commute.

My last 2 tanks were 19.2 and 18.8 MPG. 70% city or more, been taking more weekend road trips because of the weather, so I am sure that scewing my results slightly... but not that much.

When I get my oil changed I will be pushing for the M flash and the AC fix.

Well, I'll have (hopefully) the M calibration done to my 8 in the next couple of days.

*fingers crossed*

I did the sweep test ... it did.
The 8 mpg is improving as the engine is broken in. getting 19.62 mpg since the M-flash about 2k miles travelled since the flash only 3k mi. total on the engine. Got 21.2 mpg on a trip this weekend with the AC on and driving with the traffic on 95. 4-5k shift points.

I'm content with the improving mileage and very happy with the overall performance of the 8.

It lookslike you really do needto put some highway miles onto every tank if youwant to get decent mileage out of this car. I drove pure highway on my current tank for about 60 miles or so yesterday at a constant 65 mph the whole time and rightnow Ive got 180 mileson this tank and Im still several notches away from the 1/4 mark. It looks likethis tank is going to end up being alittle over 18 mpg -- unless I redline my car for the rest of the drives on this tank. Too bad 18mpg is what Imsupposed to be getting in pure city driving and not combined mileage. Regardless this will be the best post reflash tank Ive had andin case youre wondering YES I submitted to the propaganda and did the brake stomp following my very last fill up.
