Fuel Injectors...Brands, Thoughts, Tips?
I need to replace 2 of the secondary injectors. (FS) and (RS).
Should all 4 secondary injectors be replaced at the same time? Is there a recommended brand? Any helpful DIY lying around? (I didn't have much luck searching) |
why do u need to replace the said 2 injectors?
you can get them pretty much anywhere, if u worry too much, get Denso. |
They believe that is what is causing the misfire in the upper RPM ranges.

You can get new ones (factory Denso injectors) from Custom OEM Fuel Injectors from FiveOMotorsport. But that sounds like BS, these injectors rarely fail. But you can get them flow tested and cleaned cheap at most fuel injection places.

high rpm misfire is likely too much fuel (running excessively rich AFR) or too little ignition (plugs, wires, and/or coils) than fuel injectors
|
they probably listened to the wrong M-tips from their computers, and was like wtf is going on.
"waaat? info said it's right! I'm too dumb to figure that info is wrong!" |
Tech notes say...
Code P0301 Misfire Rotor #1. Rotor 1 had registered misfires in higher RPM, Over 5000. Swapped ignition coils from #1 to #2 misfire stayed on Rotor 1. The swapped Spark plugs and spark plug wires, misfire stayed on rotor 1. Pressure tested cooling system, no leak into rotor. Checked compression, Rotor 1: 6.7, 6.4, 6.7 Rotor 2: 6.7,6.2,6.4. (Supposedly NOT adjusted for altitude) Techline requested swap secondary injectors from rotor 1 to rotor 2. |

Adjusting for altitude should make the scores better, not worse. I just put the numbers in the calculator and at 3,000ft, those numbers get adjusted into the high 7s.

There in lies the problem...IF these are not adjusted for altitude, then they are good numbers. If they are adjusted...then "eeeeek"

The main point of this post was to see if there is a recommendation of brands of injectors and also whether or not I need to replace all four secondary injectors or if I can just do the 2. |
Just stick with factory Denso injectors.
