my opinion is that, if you want BEST reliablity, never re-use ANY rotor housing
and used housing, I would not use it unless it's really in "like new" condition, meaning it has little to no wear (which is extremely RARE)
the seller is one of our forum members. you can pm him directly for his own opinion. he knows his stuff as he does this for a living.

Brand new housing(s) is(are) not cheap. I used 90+% new parts for my engine build and ceramic seals simply because I plan to keep my car for life, the engine itself worth more than the car!
YMMV of course

If you are buying used ones, and you insist on buying used housings online, I would go with RR's sale or the first item you have, he is a reputable rebuilder on the forum here and he really knows his stuff. I bought a housing from him couple months back (powder coated display use only) and the process was flawless

keep in mind the parts he sells are parts he generally wouldn't use in one of his rebuilds.
they may work but they obviously aren't going to give the greatest of results.

The only difference is you need to build it twice versus just once.
As far as cost out of pocket its the same.

It costs the same in the end, you can buy new parts and get 80-90k out of the engine of you can reuse parts and get 30-40k. the used parts will give you a total of 80kish for the same price as all new parts.
The only difference is you need to build it twice versus just once.
