Found engine for $1200

after i had a meal with my bitches, i ended up finding an engine with 60k. the dude says he got a compression test by gothem racing in dallas and was 95psi and up on all faces.

engines comes with everything on it including the wiring harness. when im done selling everything that i dont need ill probably be getting more than half my money back. not to mention my core itself.

shout out to the guy that said an rx8 engine for 1K didnt excist lol mine is gonna end up costing 500 bucks or less when im done.

thanks for those who helped out and shout out to rotary ressurection for the DIY on taking out the engine.

Tell him to redo the compression test the right way this time.

That number means nothing to a rotary engine. and 1200 is high for an engine with 60K

I hope you know 95psi is on the failing end of compression....

All depends on the RPM of the test:

For 92psi to be passing, you would need a normailized engine speed of about 150rpm....congrats on not knowing facts as a compression test at 150rpm is asinine and not the way you would go about it

I would never pay that much for an engine with 60K that IMO is barely passing.

You can get a brand new remain for 2G. I see used ones going here for around 800.

Hardly hate when we are pointing out a consideration that is quite important that you over-looked. Over-paying for an engine doesn't make much sense to us, but if you are proud of it, just make sure to come back in 20,000 miles and let us know how it's doing.

lol funny how yall think you know more about an engines condition reading about it online than someone who was actually infront of it. but i know how much you dont like other people driving rx8s and all lol

92psi is not a fail even at 320rpm so im pretty confident about my buy.

yall keep wishing me bad though i love haters.
