I was just reading my owner's manual, and it has many dire warnings about using any Oxygenated fuel in the RX 8 which has either a greater than 10% ethanol formulation or is formulated with any amount of Methanol. Part of Mazda's dire warning is that use of these fuels could invalidate the car's power train warranty. ( those who wish to may refer to the manual at 4-2)

Since I live in an area in which Oxygenated gas is mandated by law, I am curious if anyone knows which manufacturers may use Methanol so I could avoid them or which might have more than 10% ethanol so I can avoid those too? Does anyone know if there is an information site concerning different company's gas formuals in this regard? Any help would be appreciated.

I think the EPA limits ethanol to 10% and almost nobody sells gas with any significant methanol. Here is a link to a PDF file that is for Techs. It is from an ethanol industry group but good factual info.
