I washed my 8 the other day and discovered that one of my fog lights is cracked.

How much is the repacement and how easy is it to install?

I've got a cracked one also. Have had for 6 months or so. Checked the dealership shortly thereafter, and they said I would have to buy a complete kit, not just the lense. "They don't sell them in pieces." Right... I took a 4" piece of clear packaging tape, overlaid it, trimmed to size, and called it a day. Been through heavy rains and standing puddles without problem. One of these days I'll pursue it again.

 

Yeah--I had mine replaced when this fenderbender occurred--it was cracked prior to that. The foglight is like $230+ without labor. You all please get those lens protector kits--these damn foglights are too succeptible to road debris and cost too much damn money.

Got a pointer to a foglight protector kit? I just noticed I have a broken one now as well.. happened this week.

(I need a passanger side one.. anyone need a driver side.. maybe we can split the cost)

 

I've got a lens that's cracked badly enough to let water into the housing. Anybody know how to take it apart so I can patch it up?
