fly wheel installation help!!!

fly wheel installation help!!!

Hey guys
I have just receive my Racing Beat 12lb fly wheel, but i need some help on installing it, one of my tec friend told me that i need a cluch line up tool for this job. and i can't find the installation on their web sit. pleases help me.

Why not call them to ask them what is needed for the installation.

BTW search this site and you will find the electronic version of the Service Manual (pdf files.) THis should help you in the installation.

it is a pretty standar tool. go to autozone,trak, stores like that will have the tool.

Youll also need a big a$$ mm socket for the flywheel.I cant remember the size now.

Charles and friends did one in the parking lot. check the pics on the se forum under road atlanta hpde and follow silvereights entrys for the pictures . He (and others) proved it can be done by ordinary guys without a lift

yea i'm thinking i may of wanted to do it myself as well...got a good del on teh install....but now my baby makes odd sounds when she goes in reverse or in first (when you first engae teh clutch)....how very odd..least teh shop has some good/great guys....so they are gonna take a look at her and see what the issue is (loose bot...who knows)...ne ways gotta love teh light weight flywheel....if only i didn' tfear of the drive train having damage b/c of the odd sound i woudl rev her sooo much higher...oh well:p hoe my baby doesn't hate me....okay i think i have babble off topic enough for one day lol

that's what i'm thinking...haha at lleast hoping. when she' smoving no problems at all...jsut when she gets going....so it's most likly somethign simple liek that. :D thakns for putting my rattled nerves at ease (well a lill ease) Charles.

Thanks for all the help guys, i'll try to do it this weekend. and any more ?s i'll just check back in here. lol. it's very nice to have u guys around. oh and what u guys think of XACT fly wheel, i almost got that one. anyways thanx agin.
