Exhaust question

When I bought my car used, the dealer told me that the previous owner installed exhaust tips. I never questioned it, but when I got under the car this weekend I saw that the exhaust read 'Street Tuned by Greddy'. Does Greddy make different kinds. Can anyone help me determine what I have?

Thanks

a pic would be helpful, but it sounds like you have the greddy sp2 exhaust.

Simple question: is the muffler one big "piece", or is it two seperate mufflers ?

If it's (a), then 95% you have the stock exhaust with just an engraving and different tips, if it's (b) then you have some sort of aftermarket exhaust....

I guess if you are saying that the stock exhaust has one long muffler vs the aftermarket ones which have 2 smaller mufflers then it has two and probably really is the Greddy SPII.

Now I wonder if it has a stock midpipe

Thanks for your help

are the tips really fat as well? if so, it might be the greddy sp2 exhaust. they have huge tips on their exhaust system.

Alright here's the story, bought my car used, didn't know it had aftermarket tint and exhaust. Here are the pictures, i'm guessing that it is a stock midpipe, but how can I tell? Now if it is stock, is it work getting a RP midpipe?

yup, greddy catback exhaust right there. rp supercat or midpipe is going to make the car obnoxiously loud.

So is the supposed 10 hp gain worth it. I don't know if it would bother me, but then again I don't know your definition of obnoxious is.

But then again I got this car partly because of the beautiful winding up and down sound of the rotary.

You can definitely tell which cars have been driven up North in the snow and salt. You might want to do a little "housekeeping" on your exhaust and underbody. I.E. note the film around Greddy...........
