Want to replace with an aftermarket one. Current OEM one rattles because that damn heatshield on it. Aftermarket ones don't have heatshield, but are expensive as well. Looking to buy the Knight Sport one since they have a different approach on it and seems to have some proven gains ( ~ 10 hp), while others only give you a range. I could buy a used OEM one, but not sure if I want to go that route.

Thanks staticlag for the steps.

This is the first time I see that people wants to replace the header because OEM has a heatshield on it.

That would be too easy.

The heat shield is difficult to get to.

Well while he's down there he better be sure to check his muffler bearings, or they might start rattling too.

The muffler bearings are a nice addition. The grease fittings are easily accessible next to the cross drilled brake lines.

Why else would Jim have put the eyetwitch at the end of his statement? I can't believe we have time to argue over nonsense like this! Consider me unsub'd.

It was always the "strange" kid with the eye twitch who quietly sat in the back of the classroom. You just never knew what he was thinking!
