Wow. I'm running mobil1 0w-40 synthetic oil. 9krpmrx8 where did you send your oil? how much did you need to send? and how much to get it tested?

do not exclude the oil pan exposure to the ambient temps as a factor of cooling.
someone told me that recently ---i had never thought about it.

Just request a free kit, they will send it to you with directions. It's about $22.00 to get it tested.

see my post below. Differences in two different cars' coolant pressures could explain maximum temperature readings under adverse conditions. Coolant system pressure also needs to be recorded (not monitored on OBD-II I believe just max-min)
