engine light on. reset ecu everything went back fine

Yesterday when i bang the car to 170km/h after that i drive it smoothly, then i parked somewhere. when i enter my car again after 10 minutes, and start my car, engine light was on and DSC light was on too. the car did not let me drive above 1st gear i think. it was slow and wasn't able to accelerate. i park at the road side, my mechanic came and pull the battery cable out, wait for 5 minutes, i think ecu was reset. put the cable back. the engine light was gone and everything is back to normal. what is the possible problem here?

If your mechanic had read the DTC (error code) instead of clearing it you would know the problem that caused the light. The car obviously went into limp mode for a potentially serious problem. It will probably return so be prepared to read the DTC. The dealer can do that or you can purchase an OBDII Can-compatible scanner and read it yourself.
