My engine light is on.
Is there anything I can do to make it go away or any protocol I need to follow?
Is it okay to disconnect from battery and see if it'll come back on?
I changed my wires, plugs, and coils but it was like little more than a month ago.
Thanks,

I can't ignore the 10,000 posts already about the CEL....
Here's one:
Then, if the CEL is still on, take it to Autozone where they will read the code for free. Tell them it's a CanBus system...
Here's one:
There are two reset procedures, one for the NVRAM and the other for the KAM.
1) With the key in the off position, press and hold the odometer reset button and turn the key to on;
Continue to hold the odo button until the odometer reads "TEST" and then release.
2) Turn the key to off and repeat step one.
This will reset the entire PCM except the KAM which contains the sensor profiles amongst other things. You can reset it with the familiar procedure:
1) Turn the key to on
2) Depress the brake pedal rapidly 20 times in a row until the oil pressure gauge sweeps to halfway and back again.
You probably only need to really do the 2nd one! Reset the PCM
That might just do it.

Most likely is the gas cap make sure the cap is tight unplug the neg battery cable for a couple minutes to clear code or just take it to autozone/advance and have the code read for free and make sure what it is if it's a small or very small evap leak most like the gas cap....but double check that also
I had a CEL come on recently due to a small EVAP leak and it was the gas cap. It eventually corrected itself. I was able to get rid of the CEL by unplugging the battery. Does anyone know if this affects the current flash on the car?
