I recently have done the ipod integration where you splice the iphone wire to the cd player and play a silent cd. when the audio wire is plugged in, it sounds crystal clear.

however, when I plug in the charger and the audio wire, i get terrible engine noise coming through the speakers, even when i have the radio on fm instead of CD.

does anyone know what is causing this and/or how to resolve this issue?
