engine coolant light

on my 8, the engine coolant light comes on when i turn on the car, stays lit for like 15 seconds and then goes off, am i low on antfreeze or what should i do?

Mine does the same thing when the temp is 40 or lower. Coolent level always looks good.

There's been a few threads about this. If I recall correctly the owners found that topping off the coolant slightly made the light stay off. Just a marginal condition. Seems like one or two owners found it was early indication of a leak so check your parking spot too.

I thought there was also a TSB for some intermittent coolant light problem, but I didn't see it : http://www.finishlineperformance.com...ins_index.html
