If you're talking about the VFAD sensor just unclip the wire.

Yea...so you got the front grommets out...now you just need to pop the two in the rear and you should be able to take it out that way.

Bail-Dawg Feb 17, 2011 12:10 PM

theres grommets at the rear? how do i get them out

DeViLbOi Feb 17, 2011 12:23 PM

pull straight up

Bail-Dawg Feb 18, 2011 01:32 PM

got the airbox off. Power steering connectors look good no loose wires. Whats my best bet for fixing this problem? can i test the wires for connectivity or something? or should i just clip them and put new connectors on? relocation maybe?

TheWulf Feb 18, 2011 01:43 PM

unplug it, spray the whole thing with electric contact cleaner and put it all back together.

if you want to figure out the pinouts you can test it with a multimeter

Bail-Dawg Feb 18, 2011 05:12 PM

Thanks everyone for the help. Go the airbox out, cleaned the plugs with connection cleaner and heat shrinked them. Power Steering is good to go.
Still have ABS code C1290 though. Anyone know if you can replace the ABS pressure sensor by itself? I can only find the whole module for sale but the sensor bolts on so they should be available seperate i think.

DeViLbOi Feb 18, 2011 11:01 PM

Glad we got one of them goin. No clue about the ABS though...sorry
