If you're talking about the VFAD sensor just unclip the wire.

the wire on the front is in my way. I cant get the box past the clip the wire is in |
Yea...so you got the front grommets out...now you just need to pop the two in the rear and you should be able to take it out that way.
theres grommets at the rear? how do i get them out
pull straight up
got the airbox off. Power steering connectors look good no loose wires. Whats my best bet for fixing this problem? can i test the wires for connectivity or something? or should i just clip them and put new connectors on? relocation maybe?
unplug it, spray the whole thing with electric contact cleaner and put it all back together.
if you want to figure out the pinouts you can test it with a multimeter |
Thanks everyone for the help. Go the airbox out, cleaned the plugs with connection cleaner and heat shrinked them. Power Steering is good to go.
Still have ABS code C1290 though. Anyone know if you can replace the ABS pressure sensor by itself? I can only find the whole module for sale but the sensor bolts on so they should be available seperate i think. |
Glad we got one of them goin. No clue about the ABS though...sorry
