During the Rolex series Race in Mid-Ohio

Emco Gears showed a custom Prototype Transmission that the RX8's and several Daytona Prototype Race cars were using.

Has Anyone had hands on experience or purchased this themselves?

 

That transmission is not for street cars. You would have better luck in the Competition forum, and the that transmission=$$$$$

 

ya, they got the 6-Speed Sequential tranny, work just like a motorcycle.

 

used on the rolex gt mazdas..

3 rotors.. 6 speed sequential..

not likely to be adapted to anything soon, as i think the tranny is 25k.

That tranny cost as much as the car itself.

yeah too expensive for my wallet i know that and i don't even know how much ti costs..but i bet it's a ton!!!! enough to buy another 8 and turbo it!

 

ya its pricey. one of my friends just put in for the full set up for his corvette that was seen during the race.
