ECU change
 

Hi all,

Just a quick one, would an ECU taken from an 05 plate rx8 231bhp fit into my 04 plate rx8 231bhp ok??

Probably not . The 4 digit number on the ECU case needs to be the same to work on your car.

There was a change in the ecu's between 04 car & 05 car & 06-08 cars.

Ah right, the thing is i'm gettin a pcm fault code coming up, what could the cause be as my rx8 is running finr?

What's the code?

I'll have to plug it back in in the morning and i'll let you know asap as i'm on nightshift at the mo.
