Dynamic Stability Control

Can DSC be added to an automatic 8 that does not have the sport package? Is it possible that the programing is in the cars computer and can be activated with additional hardware, etc.?

I don't think so, unless you're willing to pay a huge amount. Everythings possible with enough money.

You could but it wouldn't be cost effective. I asked the same question to the service mngr when I bought my 8

Thanks for the info

Appreciate the feedback. My wife and I are just about to take delivery of an 04 in Ti Grey, base vehicle. Automatic. Just using it for fun driving, no high performance. My only regret is not being able to get the DSC feature, but then again the car will most likely never get about 80 on an interstate highway. We selected the base model for a softer ride/ more economical tires, etc. Would have gone for the DSPt and the other features in the performance package had they been offered ala cart. Thanks again
