Driver and passenger side mirrors

I noticed that both of my side mirrors are coming loose at the top. The plastic part that is glued down is coming loose where it comes to a point by the windows.. sorry if that doesn't make sense, its hard to describe it.. It doesnt seem like its a big problem, the mirrors are still firmly held down.. I dont really have much time to go to the dealer right now, so I was wondering if this would be a pretty easy fix? Is there a special kind of glue I could use?

thanks in advance.

I havent taken the mirrors off, so im not sure how they are attached, I think they bolt on and then maby glue or a sealer (silicone/gorila snot) is used, if thats the case you 'could' just spray some super glue in there and hold it tight for about a min, should work.

Later if you ever have to remove the mirror, just spray some acetone (nail polish remover) in the crack to disolve the super glue (careful not to get any on the paint, and wipe it off the plastic to avoid discoloration.

The mirrors are attached by 2 or 3 screws only, no adhesives. Pop out the triangle trim piece that holds the door tweeters. You should see them. You can tighten/loosen the screws there.

If you wanted to take the mirrors completely out, you would have to remove the door panels. The wires for the mirror electricals are attached there.

do not use super glue... most super glues will vaporize and leave white residue on the surrounding surface...
