Drift

hello peeps, I just bought a 05 rx-8 and i am a fan of drifting, i would like to know what i can do to achieve this, while keeping my car as a daily driver.
any help will be appreciated,

carlos, the rx8 is not exactly a great drift car, mainly due to its lack of torque and gearing. The pro drifters end up swapping out for 13B rew motors etc. It has great balance but i wouldnt consider this car a great drift car. Your better off turning it into a weekend autocrosser, with a good suspension setup, tires, a **** load of practice you would do a killing

If you replace the stock tires with skinny, low grip tires you can have a lot of fun drifting without a lot of speed. However, drifting will tear the hell out of your car and you may lose your warranty coverage if Mazda finds out you are doing it.

You Can drift anything.
The vessel is only an insturement the pilot controlls.
rx-8 rx7 is very driftable.
You can swap out the motor for a REW or a 20b or even just get a turbo or supercharger kit for more power.
Stiff suspention with high spring rates(coilovers)
Dont use skinnier tires but start drifting with the stock wheels and tires.
They offer a good amount of grip and breakaway for drifting.

easier said than done. thats not the easiest thing to do, especially the swaps

maybe too obvious, but turn off stability and traction control
