does the new extended warranty cover for pre owned cars???

does the new extended warranty cover for pre owned cars???

i have a 2004 mazda rx8 and it got flooded a couple days ago. i cleared it out and it works fine now but takes a little longer to start and i noticed on my dipstick that theres white foam mixed with the oil and from what im reading bout that its not so good. would my car be covered if i take it to mazda? i bought it at 57,000 miles and it currently just hit 60 k

A warranty covered anyone who owns the car, not just the original owner.
A maintenance or repair contract only covers the person who bought the contract.

That tidbit should help you with any product purchased in the US.

The people at Herzog-Meier are pretty honest and nice, and they will be able to tell you what is and isn't covered under warranty. I've had work done there in the past and have been happy with them.

i just thought i heard that 04 models warranty ends at 60k i hope its 100k

100k or 8 years on the engine, mine just ended because the 8 years is up not the 100k

I know that the year will come first to mine rather than the mileage. I have an 05 with 32k+ miles. I have roughly 2 more years to go until my warranty rans out. I may have to drive the car more than what i usually drive it, and i might reach the 100,000 miles within 2 years...lol
