Does front license plate restrict airflow?
I live in Illinois so I'll have to have a front license plate to be legit. The plate mounts right smack in the middle of the grill. Won't this restrict the airflow to the beloved Renesis?
Should it be taken off for track and autocross events? |
It won't restrict airflow--the air flow is through the air dam below the grille.

It is one of the great things about the RX-8: the illusion of a big grill when in fact, the upper solid part hides the bumper.

Thanks guys.
I sooooo wish I lived in state where we didn't have to have this front plate. |
