Unhappy Difficult to start when warm

Recently I've found difficult to start my rex when engine's hot, if car standing less than 5-10 minutes it needs long time to start. Cold start not a problem.
Just made 40.000 km service and pcm update, there's no other problems.
Is it feature or ................?

This happened to me a while ago. I would stop a gas station (and we know our cars can't pass a gas station by) to fill up and the car wouldn't start. The starter motor would turn over the engine fine.
Ended up getting the engine replaced.

Get a compression check.

Mine did that when it had the original starter/battery. Not an issue now. When they did the recall they also replaced a coil so that could have been it as well.

What are you like the official dick police?

If you don't want to help then don't post why you got to flame him? That was a bonafide concern, if you have a huge problem with his inability to use the search function then how about you search it for him and show him how?

Mine is starting to do the same thing and slowly getting worse. I'm pretty sure it's a coil in mine cause I can feel a slight misfire at idle.

The coils do suffer from heat stress which does allow them to break down over time.

Here is a little tech / info coil thread to help you out................

New battery and starter (if not updated already) are in your future. Shortly thereafter will be a new engine! Al and I followed the same path.

I hope not. My engine is new as well as the starter and battery. Was replaced by Mazda North America because of a buyback due to the last owner's flooding issues.

Call me a dick police all you want.

oh wait a minute, I guess I've helped a lot of people. Way more than you Mr. Nice Guy.

when you grow up, did you copy all your homework from your fellow classmates ? I guess you did, because thats *pretty much* what you are asking me to do.

He can find his answer by a simple search.

Maybe u want to be his babysitter, go ahead, so be it. but What did you offer ? nothing ? ohhhh .....

I just keep keep E thugs like you in check, you're just those kind of guys who go for the post counts seeing how you made two posts after each other when you could have merely edited it and made it into one post. My areas of intellect don't lie in the technical aspect but if you have the answer then why not divulge the information instead of posting a useless post about how someone is so stupid and should use the search function. Sadly I never copied answers because I liked to find them myself but when I was stumped on a question I was never afraid to ask for help. If you had a question that I could answer I would help you in a heart beat because me providing you with knowledge is key and I hope you would do the same thing if roles were reversed. All I am saying is if you don't want to provide the answer then who are you to lecture others on there means of addressing there problems and how they go about doing it?

Yes, I know he was trying to get at it as being a mistake. But obviously I weighed the positives to the negatives and saving $3k on the car won out. I inspected the car and the work seemed to have been done very well......but I shouldn't have to explain all this to someone that has no clue about the situation at hand. Some people on this board just like to throw in negitivity and bash people wherever they can and I think it's kind of retarded.
