Decatting car, faulty lambda sensor help.
I'm going to decat my car in the next few days. (using stock pipe and bashing though the cat)
I have a faulty lamda sensor. Is my lambda sensor going to be of any use after decatting the car? Should I buy a new one after I decat the car?
What does the lambda sensor actually do?

You mean the o2 sensor that is actually in the midpipe/cat right? You are going to get a cel anyway, and that one doesn't really have any effect on the car and how it runs. I'm sure if its busted you will get a constant cel rather than one every now and then, is that what is happening right now?
I have been without a cat for a bit now(less than 10k miles I think) and mine is still working fine, so I don't think going catless will kill a new one or at least not very quickly. I have always wondered if it is going to die out quicker than with a cat but it seems to be holding up for me.
